MĀKSLA UN TEHNOZINĀTNE: transformēšanas prakses
No 2010. gada 24. līdz 25. martam Helsinkos notiks Somijas Mākslas akadēmijas organizēta divu dienu konference Māksla un tehnozinātne: transformēšanas prakses, kas tiek rīkota sadarbībā ar Somu biomākslas apvienību un festivālu Pixelache. Konferencē tiks aplūkoti mākslas un zinātnes prakses konteksti, gan no mūsdienu politikas, gan no laikmetīgās mākslas vēstures perspektīvas.

A conference by the Academy of Fine Arts in Finland, in collaboration with
the Finnish Bioart Society and Pixelache festival ART AND TECHNOSCIENCE: Practices in Transformation will take place in Helsinki, 24-25.3.2010. The conference seeks to contextualize the practices of ART&SCIENCE both in the contemporary political atmosphere and the history of contemporary art.

Festivāls ElectroSmog
ElectroSmog ir jauns festivāls, kura ietvaros gan teorētiski, gan praktiski tiks aplūkots jēdziens ilgtspējīga ne-mobilitāte. Ilgtspējīgas ne-mobilitātes jēdziens pirmkārt ir saistīts ar pieaugošo globālo mobilitātes krīzi. Šobrīd ir ārkārtīgi nepieciešams veidot alternatīvas pašreizējam hipermobiliātes stāvoklim. Festivālā piedalīsies dizaineri, vides pētnieki, pilsētvides plānotāji, tehnologi, mākslinieki, teorētiķi, inženieri un iedzīvotāji, lai piedāvātu idejas ilgtspējīgas ne-mobilitātes dizainam. Festivāla ietvaros notiks diskusijas, performances, mākslas projekti, izstādes, filmu demonstrēšana, dizaina konkursi, uc. Atbilstoši festivāla tematikai, neviens no dalībniekiem neceļos ārpus savas valsts robežām, un visi festivāla pasākumi norisināsies paralēli vismaz divās tiešsaistes vietnēs.

ElectroSmog Festival
ElectroSmog is a new festival that explores the concept Sustainable Immobility in theory and practice. Sustainable Immobility is first of all a critique of the growing global crisis of mobility. Alternatives for the current state of hyper-mobility need to be designed urgently. The ElectroSmog festival brings together a broad coalition of designers, environmentalists, urban and spatial planners, technologists, artists, theorists, and engaged and concerned citizens, to explore and design sustainable immobility. ElectroSmog is a truly international festival, with everything you might expect: international debates and discussions, performances, art projects, exhibits, site specific projects, screenings, design competitions, and more. During the festival no presenter will travel beyond their local or regional boundaries to participate in this event.
All festival events will always take place in at least two locations connected in real-time.

OSLO SCREEN FESTIVAL 2010
Oslo Screen Festival ir starptautisks festivāls, kas notiek kopš 2008. gada ar mērķi apvienot māksliniekus, kas strādā video mākslas un eksperimentālā kino jomās. Festivālā būs aplūkojami 60 norvēģu un starptautiski video mākslas darbi un īpaši aicināto kuratoru un mākslinieku prezentācijas.

Oslo Screen Festival is an international festival which began in 2008 with the aim of bringing together artists working
with video art and experimental film to present their work to Oslo audiences. Now the festival's 2nd edition is taking
place at Filmens Hus, March 12th-14th, with a competition program including 60 Norwegian and international films,
and presentations with invited curators and artists.

Festivāls AV Festival 10 ir veltīts elektroniskajai mākslai, to skaitā vizuālajai mākslai, mūzikai un kino. Tas norisināsies 10 dienas no 5. līdz 14. martam 2010. dažādos pilsētvides centros kā NewcastleGateshead, Middlesbrough un Sunderland. 2010. gada festivāla tematika ir enerģija, un festivāla programmas ietvaros būs apskatāmi 20 jaunizveidoti darbi, 20 izstādes, 30 performances, 10 filmu demonstrēšanas un 3 konferences.

AV Festival 10, the biennial international festival of electronic arts, including visual art, music and film, returns also in year 2010 and will take place over 10 days from 5 to 14 March 2010 across the urban centres of NewcastleGateshead, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. The programme is curated around the theme of energy and includes over 20 new commissions, 20 exhibitions, 30 performances, 10 film screenings and 3 conferences.
